ScanVeer ("we", "the app") helps you scan food, cosmetic, and supplement products and see an instant health rating. We respect your privacy and keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to run the app.
To look up products and show ratings, to keep you signed in, to sync your history and preferences, to provide and manage your subscription, and to improve the app. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
To provide ratings and run the app we rely on: Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts, Open Products Facts, and the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (product data); UPCitemdb (product photos by barcode); Apple and RevenueCat (in-app subscriptions on iOS); Stripe (subscriptions on web and Android); Upstash (secure account storage); and Vercel (hosting). When you scan a product, its barcode is sent to these product databases to retrieve information. We do not share your identity with them.
You can clear your scan history and favorites in the app at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email us at rp@poulardfilms.com and we will remove it.
ScanVeer is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
